The Youtube interview has some interesting information in the very beginning about the new Platform 1.x. The goal of Arcimoto is to gain micromobility (1100 lbs) status. Currently the FUV weighs 1300 lbs.
Cylindrical battery cells are innovating and becoming a more common form factor. Going cylindrical allows for redundancy in the supply chain. It was intuited that the supply chain in batteries has been an issue.
The titling/leaning bike (Mean Lean Machine - MLM) is much safer with ice, gravel, and other road hazards. It is also more visible and more stable due to width. It can actually lean more than 45 degrees in lean and steer.
