A Yahoo article stated Arcimoto is in partnership with Directed Technologies, a delivery company in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to pilot Deliverators. Directed Technologies offers products in various sectors across Australia, including the transportation sector. In this case, Directed Technologies will test the Deliverator and help Arcimoto gain approval for use in Australia. At that point, Arcimoto is hoping to broaden sales to rental and emergency vehicle markets.
“Over the course of the pilot program, Arcimoto vehicles will be tested by Directed Technologies’ fleet clients that specialize in last-mile delivery, and will be instrumental in preparing Arcimoto vehicles for eventual homologation to Australian safety standards.”
