Painting

Touchup Paint:

Rustoleum Semi-Gloss Black Enamel matches with the coating on the tube frame and the screw/bolt fasteners which are highly prone to rust. Also the clip for the windshield washer fluid, visible through the front grill. Flat black is a close match to the bottom rails and the floor panels, although off just a bit. One owner coated floor panels under the mats with several coats of black bed liner paint to resist sand and gravel scratching and eliminate rust.

Not sure if you take suggestions to items for this list, however if so I highly recommend this one. Works suprisingly well and plugs into standard 12v plug.

I'm hoping you can help re a battery maintainer - Now that the arcimoto comes with what looks light a cigarrette lighter type port, I can find trickle chargers but none that have a connector for that type of port - is there something specific I should be looking for that will connect between the alligator clips and the 12V port? When I talk to folks that should know they seem to worry about connectors not approved or something about possible issues with polarity. Any guidance appreciated!

We will be putting a cigarette adapter on our trickle charger that will be dedicated for the FUV. My spouse is competent so I don’t worry about reversing the polarity.

Yup. Our plug has a screw with no pigtail. But yes, that’s it. Got ours off ebay 🤷‍♀️
