A Deliverator owner replaced the dual USB plug under the control panel with a combination volt meter with a USB and USB-C plug. You can have a failing 12 volt battery (located in the compartment in front of the driver’s left knee) but have no idea until you try to turn on the Arcimoto and everything is dead.
A knowledgeable technician noted that the dual USB plug is powered by a module output, not a relay or direct fuse connection. Simply replacing the USB may have limited capacity available before it switches it off to prevent overloading so you would need to be careful in what you plug in.
If you run a cigarette lighter/12v DC power port directly to the 12v battery with fuse, you can charge the 12v battery via the power port. Something like a Schumacher 3A 6V/12V Fully Automatic Battery Charger and Maintainer would plug into the cigarette adapter and charge the battery - especially if you are gone for an extended period of time.
