Arcimoto used several pieces of software to access the CAN bus system for diagnosis and firmware updates. Some of the software is free and easy to download.
Arcimoto also used 2 different CAN adapters to talk to and updated firmware:
1. CANdapter
2. PEAK PCAN adapter
General hardware and software directions
More directions will be added to the google doc for various software packages such as the Orion BMS software, diagnostic software, SMC software for the inverters and throttle, and more.
